Today Dialog Café is known for it’s delicious food and the best coffee and teas in town but did you know it was once an architectural landmark? For Los Angeles historians, 8766 Holloway Drive is a familiar address. Designed by the famous Rudolph Schindler, known for many of his famous creations across Los Angeles, the “Infinity Frameless Windows,” that make Dialog so special. Its unique architecture makes it a must-see when visiting the famous “Sunset Strip.”
Back in the day!
A series of businesses came and went including a lamp store and a bakery. But in 2006, Dialog Café opened its doors and has served a steady stream of loyal and happy customers ever since. Dialog has been featured on several TV shows and web series including the Emmy award winning “Entourage. “
This family-run café is dedicated to serving its customers and providing quality food and beverages at affordable prices. The owners handpick their entire product line from local farms, ranches and farmer’s markets to support local businesses while delivering the best and tastiest goods for their customers.
The family hand makes many of their featured items in-house including:
Our Secret Sauces which are made specifically to our variety of sandwiches, paninis, breakfast items and specials
Privately roasted fair trade coffee varying from Ethiopian to Brazilian blends
Handmade gelatos including our awarding winning Sicilian Pistachio (many ingredients imported from different parts of Italy)
An assortment of rotating home cooked meals served on weekdays
From the family:
“We strongly believe that food and beverages not only come from quality products and great recipes but a sense of care and integrity with products and preparation. We have been doing this for years and are blessed with great customers who keep coming back day after day week after week. We gladly invite anyone to stop by our café for breakfast, lunch, coffee or to simply hang out with us!”
